4th Generation iPod

4th Generation iPod features the Apple Click Wheel (with integrated Play, Menu, Next, Previous buttons) and a dock connector on the bottom of the iPod. 4th Generation iPod has a grayscale display and includes 20GB, 30GB, and 40GB* models, as well as the U2 Special Edition iPod.


The size of the iPod's hard drive is engraved on the back of the case with an image similiar to the one shown here. You can also determine the hard drive size by turning on the iPod and selecting Main Menu > Settings > About.
